Sunday’s (3-3-2013) Power Page and KHSS for Aqueduct and Santa Anita are ready for download…

I am posting rather early today, about 1:15 PM PT, so we have not seen all the races, but as of this posting the Power Page STAR horses have been fabulous…  The first STAR horse at Aqueduct was Tug Of War who broke badly and was totally taken out of his game while trying pretty hard to get back into the race.  After Tug Of War lost, the next STAR horse was Cousin Micheal who won at 6/1 (this one was also TOP RATED), then in the 8th at Aqueduct, Bond Vigilant was coupled with Impatiaent Investor who won for the entry, paying off at 9/5 – I will be happy to take it!!!   Then over at SAnta Anita, in the 2nd race KYRIAKI won at $8.60 (this one also had an early speed mark  “1”, that shows fast internal speed – but chose to sit chilly then run to victory in the lane).

POSTING at 6:35 PM PT…  Well all I can say is VYJACK!  He was simply sensational in winning the Gotham and he won it taking the worst of the entire trip…  He was truly a giant against mere mortals…   And then we saw the Game On Dude run what I thought was his best race ever…  He was simply sensational and appears to be “improved”, which is reasonable as many horses reach full maturity after 6 years old.   He came out and “dissed” the cheap speed in Handsome Mike ant then ran around the course in such a manner as to remind me of a’great’ handicap horse.   So I am expecting this to be a very exciting season for the upper classes…

PS…  I heard one “clown” say something about the horses running up in New York being inferior in class to horses at other locals, while it’s true that more good 3 year olds do spend time in the warmer climes during this time of year, it’s sheer silliness to dismiss any horse on that basis, especially a campaigner who does his work on the New York Circuit…   If they are terrific, they are terrific no matter where they hail from, and it’s the job of handicappers to identify that, instead of going with the same old — same old…

Lost of other good stuff…
