Saratoga on Monday (7-25)… Everything was honest…as speed horses were doing better…
Del Mar on Sunday (7-24)… Early Speed was still an edge, but not like the previous days… Turf is Fair…
Race Day Play from Sunday
Saratoga Race #5 Katie O off at 4/1 . broke alertly, made all the running around the turn, was engulfed as they straighten away… tired… another early speed horse that failed at Saratoga on the turf.
Del Mar Race #5 Mystic Kid off at 3/2 – an underlay that should have been passed – in my opinion -, broke alertly and travelled along challenging for the lead on the outside, through the entire running, took the lead turning for the home stretch, opened a lead, but could not resist the ultimate winner… An excellent effort to hold the PLACE! We had the exacta with the winner “Big Score”.
