Satruday’s (11-11-2017) and Sunday’s (11-12-2017) Power Page and PLUS for Aqueduct and Del Mar are ready for download…

SUNDAY’s JJPPs and PLUS are now ready.   I will be closing the office from Noon on Saturday through Wednesday… a little R & R after the heavy workload (which I love) of Breeders’ Cup….

Everything will function normally and you can communicate with me through e-mail…  if it’s ORDERING problems – they will be resolved in a timely matter… other communications will be answered on Wednesday…

OKAY… that’s it for the moment… Good Luck… Jerry J

Here are a few topics that I will be Blur”p”ing on over the next two-three weeks…

Terrible Training Jobs!  I am totally surprised by some of the poor races run, from some of our best and most heralded trainers, obviously I will be discussing Bob Bafferts horses performance and as noted below, Richard Mandella will make this list, and there are others… The important thing here, is to be aware, as the tides might be changing some… they always seem to.

Sensational performances, by horse, jockey and trainer!  This is one I will be enjoying and look forward to discussing…

I will be Blur”p”ing a Post BC Review… If you want to receive these, just send me an e-mail to jerryj@cox.net,   I will be happy to add your name to the list and send you the BC Blurps… this is a totally FREE service… but only for our friends.

Completed Blur”p” – Bad Trips or Bad Jockey ?  There were several terrible judgment calls and placement that were totally the fault of “great jockey’s doing stupid stuff”!  This Blur”p” has been sent!

 “Race Day Las Vegas” Plays

Wednesday’s

Aqueduct was listed as MUDDY , my first play was Palladian Bridge in the 2nd  , off as the chalk – loomed large but didn’t have the strong kick today, finishing 3rd.

My follow-up play was Speighgal in the 8th…Scratched.

Thursday’s

Race #2 at Aqueduct, I pegged Truth in the Lies, who went off an amazing 10/1.  Truth took to the front immediately and made every pole with a nice lead, turned for home with run, holding the lead position until the final few steps as she tired and the ultimate winner finished strongly… none the less, we were off at 10/1 and held the PLACE.

Race #8 Divine Miss Grey off at a very decent price of 4/1, ran in attendance to the early pace setter, took over as they hit the straightaway, to be challenged immediately on the inside by the eventual winner, continued on holding the PLACE as much the 2nd best.

Friday’s

War Stroll off at 4/1 in the 8th, ran along always looking for racing room, almost got out, but was beaten to the opening, then came along late to be beaten a couple… I think there was more run, but I am not sure…

Then at Del Mar in the 4th, Fracas was the play off at 9/5, with two scratches to the inside the price was barely okay… broke a touch slow, moved off the rail and then up into contention within the opening quarter… I would say a lot, then wheeled even wider to go after the eventual winner, and came home nicely without threatening… This was not a ride I would be proud of… The horse ran well to secure the PLACE.
