Aqueduct presents well for closers on Friday…

Opening day of the Winter meeting was greeted with a stiff wind down the backstretch, putting additional pressure on front runner, especially at the longer 1-turn distance – up to 1-Mile.  But it wasn’t so profound.  The wind started to abate in the last 3 races…  You might want to take note of that and give excuses to any horses that you deemed overused in the first quarter.

I will call the bias – HONEST, but make a note for myself…

Los Alamitos was again a fun and useful place to play…

We had an amazing photo in the 3rd race with our 15/1 long-shot Royal Seeker and low price Doc Curlin noses on the line.  I was almost totally positive that Royal Seeker won the photo – but I was wrong!  Still the play worked really well on the exacta reverses… but killed my horizontals… Oh Well…

Back at Aqueduct for Friday’s racing…

Okay, we are back at Aqueduct for Friday and we even have a Turf race.  The weather has been pretty good in New York, so we will hope they run on the weeds…

Los Alamitos opened with a bang for JJPP players…

We had a terrific opening day at Los Alamitos… I usually do not “result” but I think it’s important because many people “pass” the Los Al meeting, because of this or that…

But here is the facts, our STAR HORSE won in the 2nd race ($6.20), 3rd race( $18.20,) 4th race ($9.60)… Boom – Boom -Boom… note the winner of the 1st and 5th race was our 2nd highest rated PPN…

The Race Day play came in the 6th in reverse order and the winner of the 7th and 8th race was our TOP RATED horse…

Surely with this kind of INFORMATION, anyone could make some hay!

I personally like this meeting and have no problem recommending it to everyone…
