Friday’s (1-26-2018) Power Page and Plus for Aqueduct and Santa Anita are ready for download…

V horses were fantastic at both Aqueduct and Santa Anita on Thursday.  I listed a total of 3.  That’s right, only 3.  So it wasn’t too complicated or expensive to follow these and make use of them…  The first one was at Aqueduct in the 2nd race and was also identified as a Pop Out Key in the 2nd race – this of course was Madame Barbarian who eviscerated her competition — winning and paying a whooping $54.50 — in a 4 horse field!

The next V horse was later on in the first at Santa Anita, Reinahermosa, this beautiful overlay went off 30/1 in a 5 horse field!  She only ran 2nd!  Paying a whopping $30.00 to place.  IF you played the exacta with Blondy’s Reward, 3rd rated on my sheet, you got $141.50/$1.00 – but that’s an “if”.

The final one, Chay up and Away, did nothing…  but after taking down a $54.50 win mutual and a $30.00 place mutual, against a paltry total of only 7 other horses…  I didn’t really give a care!

Sometimes we list more, sometimes we list less, but we never list a horse (or not list a horse) that deserves to be on the V list – if we know!  And today, I was “way more” than good at it.

Tomorrow at Santa Anita we have some Pick 6 tics to consider…  Good Luck everyone…

Note… This weekend, I will be doing a JJ Power Page for Gulfstream Park on both Saturday and Sunday.   This work will be added to your purchase of either Aqueduct or Santa Anita – at no additional charge!

However, it will be delivered by e-mail approximately 10 minutes after you have downloaded your JJPP product… Please be patient.

 “Race Day Las Vegas” Plays

Thursday’s

IN race #5 at Aqueduct, we backed Blame Us All, off at odds of 7/2, broke a tough slow, but took up running right away,  to push along in the 2nd position, while down on the rail.  Continued competing in 2nd position, but could not stay with the winner and tired to 3rd.

Then in Race #9 at Santa Anita … Looking At Thelake off at 5/2, was ridden conservatively throughout and well back, started to slowly pick up the leaders late, then moved to the outside for the final furlong, still moving slowly, then suddenly settle and zoomed home – easily “much the 2nd best”, securing the pace.   Just a comment, it seemed Raffy could have gotten after her a little sooner, as she was going 2 for 1 at the end, but too late.  Yeah, I am gripping a little.
