Monday’s (2-18-2019) Power Page and PLUS for Aqueduct, Gulfstream Park and Santa Anita are ready for download…

Sweeping the Card at Gulfstream Park…almost again…

Keep in mind, when you have the JJ Power Page or even the PLUS, just because a horse has the highest PPN rating, doesn’t mean you should be betting that horse!  In fact, they are often underlays, and you would do well to look elsewhere for a higher priced horse to play… possibly a win/place bet and then an exacta box with the highest rated horse or two!

On Sunday, the JJPP – Classic (that all I make for Gulfstream Park) had the winner in the TOP POSITION (highest rated PPN) in the first 5 races.  Then in the 6th race, the TOP rated horse ran 2nd (the winner was the 2nd rated horse with a STAR – the horse I played)… and then from races 8 through 11, the TOP RATED horse won. So in the first 11 races the TOP rated horse finished 1st 9 times and 2nd 1 time and out of the money 1 time.  And just to be clear, we were out in the 12 race… (but I am digging that streak aspect of this – I am hoping you are cool enough to appreciate my pride and brag here) …

Now that we have the facts and the bluster out of the way… here is what is important… You get to use a product that if you use your OWN plays and are not betting my top rated and 2nd rated horses…. you could pretty much believe and know that you have a great chance to cash the exacta with the 1st and 2nd rated horses – before you do any additional THINKING…

As you probably know, I gave out Zambian in the 8th, who was top rated and a STAR hose who eventually won paying $11.40, so it’s not an automatic that the TOP rated horse is chalk… but it is true that a decent number of the TOP RATED horses are chalk… and there is nothing about my business or game plan that want you to KEY horses that are the chalk, more than occasionally…

What I did with Gulfstream Park, shows that we know what we are doing at JJPP and you can improve your game, using the JJPPs. but you still have to play… Simply, look at the ratings and then compare the actually tote board prices and then look at the PPs… you will be surprised at what a good handicapper you can be, if you are not betting the chalk and using the JJPPs…

The best thing about price is, you don’t have to be right all the time, but you will be rewarded all the time you back a well valued price horse…
