Saratoga opens… starting the premier meet of the summer season!
New York has gotten it right on dealing with the COVID – so far. And we certainly do not want to root while taking the lead, until we cross the finish line. But I do have high confidence that the New York authorities are doing well… and the people of New York are cooperating, which is a good sign…
If they can take us all the way through the Saratoga meet, we will have a fantastic summer season a Saratoga!
Del Mar takes this week off!
An outbreak of the COVID-19, effectting 15 jocks, has caused DMTC to close the racing at Del Mar for this weekend. And will pick up next Fri, Sat & Sunday!
While this is quite annoying, it’s also something that we may come to understand during the Covid period, unitl a vaccined is at hand.
