How am I doing with JJPP-PLUS at the Saratoga and Del Mar meets?
If you have purchased the JJPP-PLUS for both Del Mar and Saratoga, bet every TOP Rated horse to win since the beginning of both meets, BET THEM ALL, today you would have won $518.60 at a cost of only $462.00. The ROI for that is a positive $1.12 per $1.00 wagered! That is exactly how good the JJPP-PLUS has been going Coast to Coast!
(updated results thru end of racing on Saturday)
Satruday’s Highlights (NOT):
Well from a playing point of view, Saturday was not a great day for Top Rated horses — which is the focus of this sections for the past week… So this one we will take on the chin. At Saratoga we had 5 of 11 run 1st or 2nd, with only 1 winner…ugh! AT Del Mar, Top Rated horse have finished 1st or 2nd in 5 ( I still think Alaskan Son won the place photo in the 7th for 6 of 9) of the first 9 races, with 3 winners… Our best play, a POK in the 9th at Del Mar, Lucky Bryan off at 7/1 ran a great race, but ran into a super early speed bias and just missed, as Free Rose got on the lead and took them all the way at 30/1. Lucky Bryan tried hard and would have turned our day around in a heart beat… but it was not to be for our “horizontal plays”…
Total win was a paltry $16.30 at a cost of $44.00, our first losing day of this week! Totals updated below which are still FABULOUS!
Friday’s Highlights:
Let’s start by saying both the Classic JJPP and the JJPP-PLUS did their jobs to a high degree of excellence once again. So for the JJPP-PLUS the Top Rated horses off the “Contenders List” produced 8 winners and 2 place out of 18 races. So what kind of horses were these, could you make money with them? Those are fair questions… The answer is, if you bet each Top Rated horse to win, you would have spend a total of $38.00 (in one race we had “co-top rated horses” so we count them both) and you would have won a total of $66.40. A lovely profit of $28.40. The ROI on the day was a very healthy $1.75 per $1.00 wagered. But this is short sample, the total for the entire meet, for both Saratoga and Del Mar is winning a total of $502.30 at a cost of only $418.00. That turns out to be an ROI of $1.20 per $1.00 wagered! That’s both meets!
Beyond the above, we had several marked Pop Out Keys win — including Three For Me $21.60, Chris and Dave $14.80 and So Sweetiz $10.00… Three For Me was NOT Top rated. The big difference between out outcomes for Classic JJPP players, is you would not have gotten a push on Kirby’s Penny in the 5th at Saratoga ( A first time starter) or seen the Pop Out Keys that were not Top Rated… but other than those, the JJPP Classic produced nearly the same results… Both products were easy to use and easy to play and easy to walk home with the cash…
Thursday’s Highlight:
Occurred in the 8th at Saratoga with our Top Rated and STAR horse ” Promotional” winning at $25.20 to win. But there is MORE! Rachel Walls a lower rated horse in this race, was also assigned a STAR and Rachel ran a big one to get 2nd money and bring home the exacta for us for $350/$2.00.
And yet there was more… inspite of being DQ’s in the 5th, our rolling Pick 3. There were a total of 7 starting in Race #2 through the end of the card. If you went 3 x 3 x 3 in all the rolling Pick 3s, you would have put up a total of $189 and got back a whopping $1,172.00
With my approach, when it’s our turn to win,
we simply do not miss — no zig — no zag!

Bias report
Saratoga on Saturday (8-6)… Honest race track, no problem for sensible speed and closers picked up speed duels… by the way, beautiful runs from both Frosted and Comfort
Del Mar on Saturday (8-6)… Again — HONEST as you could want…
Del Mar’s Turf course started to be speed favoring on Friday and on Saturday (8-6) it became SPEED DOMINANT!
Race Day Play from Friday
Saratoga… Race #10 Comfort .. off at 7/1 .. taken back to stay away from the early running, as expected, started a rally on the far turn, continued his move to finish full of run, but could only manage an excellent 2nd to the terrific Frosted…
Saratoga Race #11 Roca Roja off at 2/1… takend in hadn early, moved off the rail into the first turn, then lost any racing room as she got “pocketed” while off the rail… most unusual… shook loose late, but remained held, to finish 4th… I will follow this one for sure.
Del Mar Race #9 Lucky Bryan off at 6/1… Ran well along the inside, moved up along the backstretch, very well place, came off the rail in the stretch, ran fast, but not fast enough… got the place… to jump up winner Free Rose. Surprised and disappointed…
