The Big A race track played a touch funky again today, providing some doduble digit payoffs, with some hard-to-get-to plays. None the less, someone managed to figure it correctly and took down some 250G for the Pick-6. The two hardes for me were to focus a single or doubleton on Ever A Friend in the 5th and Life’s Measure in the finale. A creative bettor, who spread those races could have managed to include both of those, especially considering Ever A Friend’s trainer is a near miracle worker. On the otherhand, Life’s Measure was a turn back that had a look about her that wasn’t too awful from her last race- unfortunately her other more recent races made her look worse than she actually was. None the less, she was very hard to make as a singleton or doubleton. So it’s fair to say, those races would most probably required a good wide spread. This could have been really problematical, even for a PICK-6 syndicate, because the 7th race was a really “ALL” type, especially considering it was an off-the-turfer. It was very tough today, but someone managed to put together a very nice ticket…Congrats!
