The main thing that the Inner Dirt track has shown so far is a consistent bias to horses racing near the rail.   Throughout the month of December, we have seen horses come to the ID and show their liking or disliking for the surface, since we have had generally very good weather, we should read these points of data as signs that horses are handling or not handling the surface.   One comment, we have not had a FREEZE and a Thaw at this point, so there might be some accumulated moisture in the base, so stay alert…
