There was some crazy problem with this web-site yesterday. Although I did post that Saturday’s PP were ready, that page never posted. There was a problem at our server, which resides somewhere in a virtual reality — I’m just trying to get along in the real reality. So please excuse our interrupted service. I did make the PP and KHSS for Saturday and had them “supposedly posted” at about 7 PM… Some of my regular customers, e-mailed me and of course they got the PP and KHSS this morning. The regular subscribers, didn’t notice there was a problem. If there is ever a problem, please e-mail me and you can call me if you know the number… I will get you taken care of.
Meanwhile, I have turned the tables on that ugly streak that saw our winning numbers drop to an ROI of $1.10, and in the last 6 plays, with 3 winners and a place horse have boosted the ROI to $1.14. Saturday’s winner included G’Night which went off at 9/2, and the way I figure 9/2, I do not credit the whole win, instead I credit $1.oo to win and $1.00 to place, which turned the $11.20 mutual into a credit of just $8.40 — thereby pushing our total to $197.50 at a cost of only $172.00. Bold Deed was my other play on Saturday, and while running a great race, he only got 2nd money, but was very short odds, so that one was available for credit only if he won. The break point is 4/1.
Friday’s winner was Brown Is Beige, which only paid $4.20, but as I told Ralph, this low priced horse could be used as a single on Pick-6 tickets. I serve more than one master, there are important horizontal plays that deserve some attention, I can’t always go for the right value horse, sometimes I have to go for the right “frequency” horse…
Horse racing is just so much…I love it…
