There were just so many great plays, especially at Aqueduct, but maybe the best play was WHY ARGUE at The Big A.   WHY ARGUE went off a fabulous 6.80 / 1.00 — while being rated as the fastest horse on the Power Page and featuring a STAR mark — which in this case was clearly a play.  Especially when you consider his look compared to the EXIT PLAY of LUCCI The LION who we were hoping for 2/1 — later on we were treated to nearly 3/1.  But with this obvious value richeness in WHY ARGUE, we are forced to play here.  Hopefully, we make the classic play we make for solid value plays in this price range of win and place.  For those of you whose place  play was a reverse wheel, you took down the exacta of $891.00 for $2.00.  This would have salved the wound of watching the very tough trip that WHY ARGUE received.   I surely think WHY ARGUE was best on the track, after reviewing the race and noting the advantage horses to the outside had all day, but that happens and we still can win, even when we run 2nd by betting SMART….

I have talked about these concepts over and over again, so it’s okay to speak up here, when it pays off…
