Thursday was a day for some “random” results.  I like the term random for it’s implication that there are things in handicapping that are difficult to see and hard to explain…   Yet these sometimes “random” events can be a big part of a solid wagering approach.  Over the years, I have successfully handicapped several $90.00 plus horse – even pegging Shared Account and Spain asBest Bets in there winning of their  BC events.  But most of the time, these types are difficult at best – maybe impossible to figure.    For myself, I have had the pleasure of hitting several of these over the years, by simply adding in the longest priced horses in my exacta for a small amount – almost like a throw-away wager…   So think about this as a potential strategy when building your play…

Friday’s card should make for some terrific opportunities…
