Well, we come to the end of the  BF-Hollywood spring-summer meet and this may the the last time for this particular meet.   Somehow in this particular corner of the world, I hope
“they” somehow find new life and plenty of racing dates in the future…  But my guess is that it “ain’t gonna happen”!  When BetFair took over this track, I had a strong feeling that racing at Hollywood would be safe for a long time to come.    The idea of moving inland for summer racing looks like a tough impost for the horses to tote, you know it gets pretty hot when they move away from the coast…

Anyway, move on we all will…
