AS of the 8th race at Del Mar the Top Rated horses returned a total of $30.20 against a cost of $24.00 — and the beat goes on…
Here’s the deal, the PPN on the Power Page is the product of an analysis that focuses mostly on the more recent races and how they appear as a pattern in the numerical form. And consequently, the speed figures that are used MUST BE ACCURATE, otherwise the numbers would be based upon meaningless data and never would consistent- quality results be realized… That’s the first thing. The 2nd thing of importance it proving that your are handicapping with the more important handicapping factor — which we prove conclusively is the most recent form of the horse.
I like having a consistent analysis, rather than a newly made up one on every race… So whenever I am right, I cash and there is NO ZIGGING & ZAGGING!
Once we start with the PPN, it’s pretty likely that the winner is going to come from the higher rated horses in most races, (note some races are so closely matched that the winner can come from anywhere in the ratings) – so this group of 2,3 or 4 horses can become our GROUP 1 horses for a particular race. So now what do we do, — we start making adjustments to the PPN. We make small changes, not big ones. YOUR HANDICAPPING is now challenged to look at Post Position, trainer changes, jockey stuff, workouts and BACK-Class… Any questions, just send me an e-mail…
