Happy New Year!!!
We finished 2013 at Aqueduct and by any analysis, we would have to say we finished with a BIG BANG! Top Rated horses returned $39.30 for a cost of only $16.00 (Race #6 was excluded because of high content of first time starters) and STAR horses won a total of $25.10 at a cost of only $6.00. Two of those STAR horses were also Top Rated as well. This marks a change in the way I present data, making Top Rated horses more important than before. Naturally, a Top Rated STAR horse should be very potent. Top Rated horses were so effective that betting all Top Rated horses for the entire year returned better than any other information source in horse racing – at least as far as I am aware. I wonder out loud if any handicapper with a toute sheet can break even on their top rated horses covering all selections at all meets at their favorite meet.
Now a slight change in the STAR horses is that as they occur lower in the rankings, these become “flags” to suggest these horses might be good inclusions in your exotics as underneaths and lighter used reverses, while STAR horses that occur on the top of the Rankings are potent…
Now that this is accomplished, we should look forward to a great 2014!
