We saw the weather turn really cold in New York and I thought the track held up beautifully. We saw many races in which there was a high degree of competitiveness indicating that most of the horses were getting hold of the surface. Prices were popping, as some horses really “jumped” up with some surprising big efforts… One longshot that ran a great race, at Santa Anita, but was no surprise to Power Page players was DO SOME MAGIC in the 5th at Santa Anita. AT more than 30/1 this 2nd rated horse on the Power Page was the PLACE horse on the track and yielded a $30.00 place price…
Value players should have been all over this one…
