So what’s more important – watching and amazing stretch run from Far From Over, or Dortmund – re-rallying after a very good Firing Line blew by him at the top of the stretch …  Or cashing on a 65/1 Longshot who we might not be able to remember his name next week!  But we have no trouble remembering the name of Solid Wager today after this highly rated “V” horse won the 6th at SA paying off at over $130.00 for a $2.00 wager and making the exact with the TOP RATED horse on the Power Page – Logan’s Moon.  Right now we are getting ready for CC and Shared Belief big duke-out at 3/1 and EVEN money.  And while that’s very nice, the warm glow of cashing on Solid Wager is really and truly what its all about.  For me — and I hope for you — it’s about our participation in the sport of kings, not the sport of kings itself.  When I cash – it’s about what I am doing…  I hope each of you — who are fans of the Power Page could reason out that Solid Wager was a solid wager at 65/1 — simply dismissed by everyone but the Power Page!  Solid WAGER was rated only 1.5 points off the TOP RATED horse and 1 of 5 horses in that group.  Doesn’t the odds make him the better wager?  Usually, a horse at that price, with some decent ratings from my service is likely to be trained by a weaker trainer and/or jockey — but this is a Peter Miller horse handled by Victor Espinosa.   I really thought this was a mistake – and I was right….
