After another terrific day with the Power Page’s we get to move on to two terrific Saturday cards.  Including Wicked Strong — winner of last years Wood Memorial — returns in the Excelsior at 1 1/4 mile… Some very good races at Santa Anita.

ON Friday 7 of the 17 races were won by TOP RATED horses including a couple of very nice mid-priced horses….at Satna Anita My Sweet Afleet paid $13.80 and Ransom Canyon paid $11.60.

I was amazed to see my Sidepocket Run get put up for 2nd after a very steadfast run on the far outside.  It looked to me that he was probably 4th, but he nudge out the phot to finish 3rd and when Gouyen was DQ’d, he was moved up to 2nd, paying a nice $6.20 to place…  For the past several weeks I have been an UNLUCKY 2nd too may times, in this case I was a LUCKY 2nd…  I thought the DQ was correct and clear…
