Aqueduct looks pretty good for Saturday – “I hope”…
While we have been doing terrific on the Power Page and PLUS for Aqueduct through this “wet patch”, we should see a “drying track” tomorrow. But keep in mind the temps are lower, so the track will probably retain the “WET” feature to a greater extent tomorrow than we see at Belmont in the summer. Belmont really does dry out fast, going from sloppy to fast with just a short stop at “GOOD”…
As for the turf, I have only handicapped the 8th race for the Turf, all other Turf races have been handicapped for the Main Track. I am very hopeful to see this race, The REd Smith G-III, is always an excellent Turf affair, and I am hopeful it will be a great race tomorrow. It happens to handicap like a real close affair. With the fav being tagged at 3/1, that’s not a price I would touch, even though I like the horse. This might be a “WIDE SPREAD RACE”… but if it’s on the Dirt, I have nothing to offer…
