Aqueduct presents well for closers on Friday…
Opening day of the Winter meeting was greeted with a stiff wind down the backstretch, putting additional pressure on front runner, especially at the longer 1-turn distance – up to 1-Mile. But it wasn’t so profound. The wind started to abate in the last 3 races… You might want to take note of that and give excuses to any horses that you deemed overused in the first quarter.
I will call the bias – HONEST, but make a note for myself…
Los Alamitos was again a fun and useful place to play…
We had an amazing photo in the 3rd race with our 15/1 long-shot Royal Seeker and low price Doc Curlin noses on the line. I was almost totally positive that Royal Seeker won the photo – but I was wrong! Still the play worked really well on the exacta reverses… but killed my horizontals… Oh Well…
