Aqueduct should be WET on Friday…
Rain is in the forecast and should give Aqueduct a very good soaking, especially overnight and into the Rush hour. This should give us a Sloppy condition, which I have made the Power Page’s for! This is a great opportunity to remind everyone that the “p and P” are the horses I like to play at a price. The reason is these horses haven’t performed well or at all on a Sloppy or Muddy track. So nobody knows how good they actually are, so their prices tend to inflate. Remember, playing horses correctly is as much about finding good plays that have a touch of uncertainty, as opposed to playing the MOTO horses – that everyone sees and have low prices attached.
Santa Anita… a truly fabulous card…
I like Santa Anita’s card in the first 4 races, and I absolutely LOVE THIS CARD from the 5th through the 9th races on Friday. In fact, I have 2-Featured Plays and 2-Pop Out Keys and they all occur in the back 5 races. About the 2-Featured Plays, the one I always write up is the one with the bigger price. But they are both horses with plenty of solid handicapping ideas to support this opinion and sufficient value to play at the Morning Line price…
