Thursday was an interesting day for the Power Page, good for value with Top rated horse, but not very good for my STAR horses, this is part of the ebb and flow, so it’s a worthwhile reminder to stay consistent in your approach and not to zig and zag…  To that point I had some good fortune in my selection winning with my play at Santa Anita while losing with Missilewhileuwork.  One comment about Missile, this being one of the really sucky things about horse racing, Missile really lost it before going to the gate and as a bettor, we can’t do much about it, just have to take the hit.  But at Santa Anita, my play Real Rockport, looked like a 5/2 play, but ended up going off a full 5/1.  After reporting home at $12.00 winner everything was OKAY… For the daily tally, it was tallied as win & place because it was over 4/1..  Hence it improved my return total by $8.00 to a return of $184.90 at a cost of $164.00.  The ROI improved $1.13 on $1.00 wagered…  It’s nice to get back to a winner…
