Starting to get back in the groove.  Belmont ran 9 races on a Muddy track that really appeared to be more of a Good/Drying track.  Tomorrow’s race track should be Good to Fast.  One thing for certain is that the rail played very well on Wednesday and again on Thursday.  The only problem, is that some of the jockeys kept believing the outside was the place to be. I saw so many mistakes I just had to stop watching, especially in the 6th when So Scott kept giving up the inside to get hooked all the way wide and then lost to the horses inside who were no better… Speed was pretty good at Belmont on Thursday, very little passing in the stretch …

Star horses returned $6.40 to win against 4 plays or $8.00, small negative, but they all ran some and were trying in the stretch…
