Saturday’s (1-16-2016) Power Page for Aqueduct and Santa Anita are ready for download…

Swift Lady , a STAR horse in the 7th at Santa Anita ran a hole in the wind and paid a whopping $46.80 for $2.00.  So we had a total of 7 STAR horses between the two — Aqueduct and Santa Anita, producing 1 winner, 1 place, 1 show and 1 4th from the 7 STAR horse.

How about the “v” horses on Friday.  There were a total of 3 at the two tracks.  With Funny Gal reporting home 2nd at 30/1 (in a small 7 horse race), filling out hte exacta with the favorite.

So from 10 “alerts” (STARS and V’s), we had 1 winner at $46.80, 2 placed (1 of which was 30/1).

Santa Anita :  Race #8— Media Melee, ran a big effort in losing.  Hung wide from flag fall to finish, while attending the pace, just too much ground to give away, the winner raced very well in the stretch…  MM finished off the board, but deserves a good look next out.
