Los Al kicks off it’s September meet on Thursday.   This gives us much better continuity using LOS Al as opposed to Fairplex, largely because the track is used throughout the year in addition to composition similarity of the track itself.  Unlike at Del Mar with overflowing fields, we are looking at fields quite a bit closer to the norm – so your handicapping should be quite a bit “less stressed”…  And racing luck – should be a little less prominent…

I am sensing this should be an easy breezy meet…  Stay with the Power Page…

The Power Page’s for both tracks are ready for you to download…

IT’s been a long summer, as it always is — but I have enjoyed doing the work, to try and help build your edge.  At times it was smooth and easy, while at other times it was bumpy with plenty of difficulty to the handicapping…  During this season we see so many over-subscribed fields that by themselves are real problems to get the right outcome, even if you have bet the right horse!  Also, it seems like insiders take a little bigger bite out of the handicapper’s. We see horses that seem outmatched getting bet down, and then we have some tough decisions to make…

But in the end, we get some great scores out of horses such as Pleasant As Pie, paying a whopping $68.80 at Del Mar and we become OKAY very quickly…

Back to regular racing at Los Al and Belmont, starting this upcoming Thursday …
