Saturday’s (7-25-2015) Power Page and KHSS for Saratoga and Del Mar are ready for download..,

Opening day at Saratoga was pretty successful for the Power Page player.  Expecially in the 4th race when our “V” horse, Off The Track won paying $19.60 and completing the exacta with our STAR horse Banree… and then in the 6th race our 2 STAR horses ran 2nd and 3rd to the favorite (the only horse to earn a rating and a decent rating for a juvy at that – 69.0)…  Anyone sharp enough to take the two STAR horses and box them with the field and then an extra ticket or two with Just Wicked made out very – very well..

 

AT Del Mar, as we publish during the card, we can see that our Top rated horse won 3 of the first 5 races with Carlos Dannger running a nice place to hte Firstee….

WE open at Saratoga – what I would describe a “tough card”, which translates to handicapping puzzles that demand the player consider price before he takes the rubber band off.  Let’s face it, we may all know who the “best” horse is, but the “best horse” does not always win.  A good example – well a good example happens all the time….

Remember, that horse getting bet down on the tote board, should be added into your exotic turns.  I always recommend simple straight wagers to start your play and then add in exacta turns to allow you to win with a place finish as well… and most important, don’t take short money!

This meet is famous as the “graveyard of favorites” but the favorites do very well historically up at Saratoga, as mentioned earlier on the Race Day Las Vegas, the favorite won last season at 33% rate.  When you consider they have more than the normal field sizes, especially on the turf, this is a very high number.
