You can on your own, decide on MVH’s there are almost always 1 to 3 on every card…  Just find horses that — with a little help — can get a minor piece and these all start with a big morning line.  All you need to qualify a horse as a MVH is a big price, and some little angle in there current form .  These by definition are HEAD SCRATCHERS….  The Power Page is the perfect handicapping aide to assist you in adding this powerful tool into your handicapping arsenal…   If you think you have a MVH, e-mail me and  I will review the horses and give you some of my opinion…  I will only guarantee to answer the first 50 e-mails…

So how do we handle changing conditions?  My answer is , “I think we handle the changing conditions correctly!”   It is also true, that you will not be able to use Turf numbers for races moved to the Main Track.  And it’s also true that we will not have numbers for Main Track Only horses…

But here is what you did get from the Power Page on Thursday — In Race # 1 – the only “m” horse ran 2nd, in Race #3, the only “p” horse ran 2nd, in the 4th race the ONLY TWO “P” horses ran 1 & 2 for a cold exacta…  and in the 5th race, their were 2 “p” horses and one of them ran 2nd.  I am not going to talk about the other races which were Turf races taht moved to the Main track and truly were a bunch of weak races – for exampe the 6th race was reduced to only 3 runners…

So there it is, the Power Page put a laser like focus on serious contenders in 4 out of 4 races — and depending on how you wagered, you should have had a PLUS Experience….
