A fabulous day of racing and some fabulous results for the Power Page… One of our close friends here at Power Page central called to advise me that the winners were found in 15 of the 19 races that could be rated in either the 1st or 2nd position… It’ only confirms what we all know, that current form is the most predictive factor available to the handicapper… WE DID WELL ON SATURDAY…

The Empire Classic and the whole card at Belmont is some of the most contentious handicapping I have seen in quite some time. With the exception of a few odds-on standouts like Wired Bryan and Cluster of Stars which appear to have their less talented rivals — over the proverbial barrel — the balance of the contest have a high degree of handicapping difficulty– at least to this handicapper…
My favorite race on Saturday at Belmont is probably Race #10… Honestly, I might just sit on this play all day long… When you think of it, the Power Page’s really rock, even if they suggest waiting for a particular spot… Santa Anita just looks a little juicy and on the easier side …
