Monday’s (8-27-2012) Power Page and KHSS for Saratoga are ready for download…

Sunday’s Video Presentation was pretty darn good, I think it’s a good idea to do little post – discussion of the plays, I’ll try to have it out on Wednesday.  Also, on Tuesday, I intend on doing a discussion on the Travers.   I think Dullahan got the right kind of track for him and demonstrated how good a horse he is.  I was backing Dullahan in the Belmont, but found it very surprising that he couldn’t handle that crew.   Now he steps up and runs down a true Grade -I. Handicap horse who was having a great trip – loose on the lead.   He did it all on his own.  The facts are pretty confusing, but this clarifies the quality of the 3 year olds on their game.   It’s just  that they aren’t on their games all the time.   Great when they step up…

Monday’s has a couple of good races to consider plays, good luck…

Sunday’s(8-26-12) Power Page and KHSS for Saratoga and Del Mar are ready for download…

The Video Presentation of Saratoga for Sunday 8-26-12 is now ready for your review.

I have to wonder out loud, about the Travers, so many horses and so little run? Or was that really a great try by a couple of colts on the improve. Did Nonios bounce and when Liaison finally does put it together will he actually have someone betting on him? And was Neck “n Neck just another bouncy ball? Atigun who rallied in such a stellar fashion in the Belmont, hung with total dead aim, while passed by Nick Zito’s piece. No doubt McGee and Zito while very pedestrian in their overall exploits as trainers, still have a bit of magic when it comes to going long in these 3 year old Stake races… I’ll be interested in seeing the figs for the race and will have them on Tuesday, so maybe I will do a postmortem (if I can be revived)…
