Oh Baby… a Great Card at Belmont and a very good card at Santa Anita…

Belmont’s card is again — just so exciting— that I have to give it the famous “Oh Baby” call…

And Santa Anita presents a very nice 8 race card to take us through a very nice day of racing!

No Santa Anita Derby  Seminar

I have decided not to do a Santa Anita Derby, it’s simply too small a field and the competitive aspect of this race are less than I would like.  It’s just full of betting traps as Authentic should win by as far as he wants, but is under no urgency to win at all…  It’s just not a race I would like to focus our attention upon… I hope everyone will understand…

Belmont presented beautifully…

The beautiful Belmont Turf courses were a great thing to watch.  We have been on 2-turn turf racing for a long time and Belmont is a great alternative with there massive Turf courses that allow for 1-turn miles, same at 6 and 7 furlongs…   It’s different, but it’s fantastic.

While the handicapping, which is generally devoid of “current form” on Wednesday, in the case of tomorrow’s card, their are more horses that have a more regular race spacing…we will adapt – for sure!
