Tracks are opening…

We have another interesting and appropriately challenging card at Gulfstream for Thursday.  There could be some showers in the afternoon… stay alert!

It looks like Belmont will return on Wednesday June 3rd.  Of course I am looking forward to producing the JJPP Classic and the JJPP PLUS  to go with our 3 days of racing per week from Santa Anita.   I am pretty certain, I will return to my 2 home tracks of Belmont and Santa Anita on a daily basis… but let’s not jump the gun… we will make the final decision on that when it’s clearly a good bet!

So, let’s enjoy Gulfstream Park through the balance…

Santa Anita produces a fairly formful opening…

Handicapper’s may agree or disagree with my headline.  I thought the racing in general and the strip in particular is playing very fairly.  There were 1 or 2 horses that seemed to fool me, but for the most part, they ran to their figs… and in the case of being fooled, the horse was bet off the board – at least to me.  So there was a betting signal that could have been of insight.

I think the product is absolutely first rate…
