Friday is a racing festival…

It’s a day before Travers’ Day, but who cares, we have two great cards and we expect great weather to support both days.  As I mentioned below, we saw some good movement on the rail at both Saratoga and Del Mar, which has been too long in coming…

Bias alerts for Thursday…

Saratoga and Del Mar have “fixed” their slow rails.  Both tracks played honestly, which is fantastic, if it can continue through the remainder of the meet, we should be very pleased at the finish of both meets.

Saratoga turns WET.

With a forecast for good weather, came lots of rain on Tuesday and Wednesday.  This caused me to re-handicap Wednesday’s JJPP and JJPP-PLUS with all the Turf races moved to the main track.  It turned out to be the right thing to do, when in the final race Queen Kahan won at 9/1.  Queen Kahan had become our Featured Play and was pointed out in the later edition of the JJPP-PLUS… and of course was TOP RATED on both the JJPP Classic and the JJPP PLUS.

Bias alerts for Wednesday…

Both Saratoga continued to favor outside running lines, while early speed wasn’t too bad, but closers could move in the stretch… DMR… I haven’t decided yet.
