STAR and V horses produce again…

Yesterday I highlighted our $49.00 V horse winner at Gulfstream Park.  There were a total of 6 horses, 3 STAR horses and 3 V horses… So that is $49.00 up and $12.00 down…

Okay so we come back on Thursday, between Aqueduct and Los Alamitos, a total 4 Star horses and 3 V horses… with 2-winning STAR horses producing $20.80 in winning and $14.00 in cost.

That’s just the facts…

Great cards at both Aqueduct and Los Alamitos…

WE have many contentious races that often produce some great prices.  So I am liking both cards very much, but Los Alamitos is especially interesting to me, as I have 3 consecutive races with Pop Out Keys, in the 5th, 6th and 7th with a STAR horse in the 8th, this is one of the times I think a Horizontal wager makes great sense…

Bello Porte wins, paying $49.00… a “V” horse…

It always pays to have a Power Page in front of you when you play horses, even just to get an opinion on the relative upside on each horse in the race.  That to me is common sense, but it is not clearly apparent.  And often, horse players don’t want other’s to influence them – just because.  Fair enough…

But it makes no sense to not have the JJ Power Page in front of you, simply to know the STAR horses and the V horses on the card, if only to add into your plays, because together they are phenomenal and positive in expectation…  A good example is our V horse from Wednesday’s Gulfstream Park Power Page… There were 6 total ( 3 STAR horses and 3 V horses).  Bello Porte was our V horse in the 5th race, and went on to win, paying $49.00 for a $2.00 win wager…   That pretty much should have made everyone’s day… in some way…
