Nor’easter in the New York Area…

Belmont has been handicapped for the Main Track in all races for Saturday.  This is due to the expected Nor’easter set to hit the New York area on Friday night and into Saturday.   Actually, I have to wonder if they are actually going to race, but be assured, if you purchase New York’s JJPPs and they don’t run, you will get an appropriate credit!

Santa Anita is a terrific card, one we have several Top-Rated STAR horses that carry really solid pricing.  One is even a double digit odds, in this case  I believe he should be the fav… what more could you ask for!

Friday at Belmont should be beautiful once again, but we are expecting WET weather overnight and into Saturday.  So if you can get out to play on Friday, it’s a great idea.  We have been discussing – lightly – the Bias on the Main Track at Belmont.  Many commentators have considered it to be a prevailing “inside and speed” bias.  I would offer that each has their own opinion on this and views it much in alignment with the results of their play.  But when I looked at Thursday’s races, it just appeared to be HONEST to me.  But it certainly was no negative to be on the inside and we did see horses close to the rail do very well… but still it all appeared Honest to me…and more important, I think we can look for more of the same tomorrow…
