Excellence at Belmont Park… some craziness at Los Alamitos...

The JJPP hit the mark throughout at Belmont on Saturday, with our TOP RATED horse winning or placing in the first 8 races accounting for 6 winners from the TOP RATED horse.  Interestingly, in the 9th when the race did go as we expected with a late gate break from Majestic Won, our V horse, Banty Girl, who was also a listed Pop Out Key off at odds of 68/1 was racing valiantly in the 2nd position all the way to the final 1/16.  Still finished 4th… but our streak of the first 8 races was over…

Tomorrow, I hope another streak will start.

Los Alamitos started very formfully, at least for the JJPP players… but got a little crazy in the 6th race when Shades of Victory ran to victory at 80/1.  I can’t claim we offered any help in finding this long… except of course using the ALL burger…

Belmont’s Fall Championship meet starts on a high note; 

with the track being the STAR.  We saw horses run real fractions, getting excellent footing, making moves and fighting hard to repel attacks when able.  The fractions were not pedestrian, the track was tight and responsive…  I thought opening day was  great and I am going to optimistically look forward to this entire meet…

Los Alamitos was exceptional as well, especially for JJPP players in the opening 4 races.  As we had 2-STAR horses win in the 3rd and again in the 4th.  The first one paying, Invasion Looming at $12.40 and then followed up by Strictly Biz at $31.20.  This combined with our TOP RATED horse winning the opening 3 races, should have set everyone up with some Cash in their pockets…

And on the JJPP-PLUS,  Strictly Biz was a listed Pop Out Key!
