JUSTIFY  upends the history

by winning on just 3 lifetime races and never racing as a 2 year old… He did it in such a powerful performance that we are all super impressed.  For us, we had to suffer the loss of an major exacta difference, when Audible missed going by Good Magic, but we were very happy taking down the trifecta…

Good Magic ran incredibly well too, taking on the early pace, much better than expected and holding on through the lane for 2nd on what was a grueling pace duel over an obviously tiring track.  Audible also ran well encountering some difficulties early (as reported by one of my clockers, and soon to be confirmed when we do reviews tomorrow), but I would have loved if he could have pushed on by Good Magicfor the place…

Wonder Gadot runs Monomy Girl to a fantastic finish at 16/1, setting off some really great payoffs.  Especially with Midnight Bisou running 3rd.  Everyone thought Monomy Girl and Midnight Bisou was a cold punch  1-2.

But not Jerry J, nope, I was all about – Wonder Gadot – who I saw was entering a  development cycle.  A perfect opportunity to catch a capable filly on the “explosion”.  The first 3 finishers were 1,3,2 on my Jerry J’s Power Page… and as I said yesterday at our Fiesta Henderson Seminar… I was playing this horse win/place and making exactas and trifectas with Monomy Girl and Midnight Bisou…. This came in with a $96.80 exacta, a $181.20 Trifecta and then in a moment of inspiration on Race Day Las Vegas… I chirped the 4th horse as well for a $1.387.40 Superfecta.

Now we are moving our tack to Saturday’s racing.  We are now all about this 144th edition of the Kentucky Derby, and it’s is going to be a doosssssyyyyyy.
