Gulfstream on Friday…
My marketing director would kill me for my next statement, but the JJPP for Gulfstream wasn’t very good on Friday, after having a really good week. But if you came to play on Friday, you probably think my dog, Smokey Bear did the handicapping. It is what it is… but that’s the nature of handicapping, we all have days, when our best ideas seem to have an extra 100 lbs in the saddle bags.
No worries, we have tomorrow and the rest of the season to apply what has always been solid handicapping ideas that my customers love.
Once again, the track was playing very HONEST, getting very good runs both wide and on the rail!
Santa Anita turned into an outstanding day…
As long as I resulted Gulfstream, Santa Anita started a little fair, but then our JJPPs turned “white hot” at the 5th race and continued through the end of the day, when we slammed the last Trifecta with our STAR horse Tiger Dad getting home at a $17.80 mutual, while the Trifecta was made up of our Top 3 rated PPN horses. In the last 5 races our Top Contender won 4 of the final 5 races! And in the 7th race, our Top Contender ran 2nd to our 2nd rated Contender – a reverse exacta of my Top 2 Contenders…..White Hot!
