Belmont : Race #6… Is She Hot… off at 5/1… Broke in stride to assume a position about 4 off the lead, moved outside gradually through the turn, took up the chase turning for home, secured 2nd without being a threat to the winner, “much the 2nd best”….made the exacta — but skimpy…
Santa Anita: Race #9 …Surfing The Menu …off at 3/1… broke a step slow, then rushed up quickly to engage in the 3 path, tried to relax a little mid race, then went up to take the lead turning for home, opened a lead, but then tired late due to all the negative early issues, held for place, made the exacta with Wife Approved at 32/1 — took some of the sting out of losing this 3/1 with the horse that was much the best, but finished 2nd…
