Fierceness takes on Sierra Leone in the Travers’ today… Also, trying to upset the apple cart is the fine filly, Thorpedo Anna. We shall see if she can “class” up, but she will have to run much faster than she has ever run before… in the opinion of this handicapper. It is true, that sometimes the filly will “run” and the colts can’t quite figure out what to do… but she is not the comparison of Personal Ensign, Rachel Alexander or Winning Colors… so if you are backing Thorpedo Anna, I think you need some decent odds, maybe 7/1 or higher…
