Belmont… Race #6 Vicky’s Dancer off at 8/5, in a reduced field, this met fair value – barely —  As expected VD broke alertly and made all the running on the front, without any pressure.  Turned for home, but was noticeably striding less effectively, could not resist the winner, while much the 2nd best… I would not be inclined to follow VD off this effort… We made the exacta by holding THE PLACE with our main exotic turn.

Santa Anita… Race #6 Monterrey Shale off at 6/1… broke well to take up the running behind the first group, masterfully handled to save ground and then ease off the rail down the backstretch, moved up while still conserving ground loss, then move to the outside for the stretch run, but could not lift with the winner, finished fair but with a mid-pack finish.

5-26 Race #6… Nobody Move off at 8/5 … after many scratches this price was okay… took hold out out the gate to be a back marker, then advanced along the turn, came into the stretch a clear 2nd and widened on those behind, but made not dent in the winners margin… Much the 2nd best in holding the PLACE… No exacta here…

Belmont… Race #6 Majestic Lassie off at 5/1… broke sharply to take the lead, under some pressure, moved along on the front, then was encountered with a strong bid, accepted the new challengers leaning in, and was embolden to rebuke her bid and win in a very valiant and hard fought victory… Winning and paying $12.00… play made the exacta, trifecta and superfecta.
