Well, sometimes the “randomenss” of horse racing takes over for a day or two, and that seems to be what’s been going on, especially at Santa Anita. That being said, we had wom very nice plays that did come in. A special note, the bad break took Cyclatron out of his heat and he certainly was best, but sometimes bad luck helps another with more value… I don’t know if Cyclotron is a good playback, very often the bad break might be a sign that something is “pinching” him… He did run gamely though…
And what can we say about the effort of California Chrome and Tamarando too. CC was just off the hook good. And it shows, that while the Power Page adheres to the principle of “bouncing off big efforts” – it simply doesn’t happen all the time…
