V horses continue to do their job at Los Alamitos as Jill Madden won well, paying $7.00 again in a small 6 horse race.
With only 2 V horses on the entire Los Al card, so that worked well. Additionally, for those with the JJPP-PLUS, the top two horses in the contenders list made 6 of the first 7 race exacta, of course many of the prices were very tight.
I continued to have another very good set of results at Belmont, especially with out Top Contenders winning the last two races, setting up some nice horizontals to finish the day… Uni who was a Pop Out Key won the 9th at Even Money and then Caribbean won the finale at $9.70, with the exacta and trifecta lined up – cold… I also say, the most important race of the day, is the final race of the day… win the final race and you should go home a winner…
Back to Los Al, my Featured Play and Race Day Play was Exuberance in the 8th. This filly was many lengths the best, as she nearly never got to open up her stride, for the brief moment she did, she started to gobble them up immediately, but then she got shut down again… She was beaten just a length and one-half for all the money, but was probably many lengths the best. Truthfully, we could have gotten a better trip from a “jockey with a service dog “, then we got with Tyler Baze… And it was so bad, it makes me wonder what he is seeing! It was only a 2/1 play, so it’s not the end of the world.
Full updates for Wednesday… I feel a Blurp is coming!
