It’s worth noting that Justify ran a 77.5 for the Belmont, well above the PPN I forecast for him in the Belmont… Also faster than I forecast for either Vino Rosso or Hofburg… Of course, I did not forecast a fig for Gronkowski, but it’s safe to say he ran better than I thought as well. Vino Rosso and Hofburg ran right to their forecasted PPN…

While there is some discussion as to the fairness of the tactics use by Justify’s people, it is pretty clear, especially taking into account the lively rail and the sharp first quarter run by Justify, that nobody was beating Justify on Sunday… I am totally satisfied that Justify, showed me his reserves are very, very deep! I am so impressed and that’s all we should focus on now, because however we played, that’s over now, but Justify’s amazing career is still on the ascent!
