We are looking a lovely weather for the next several days in New York and with that we should have some terrific cards and great races to handicap and play.
Last week we saw a persistent Inside Speed Bias effecting the main track and started to see an outside closing bias on the turf course. I would expect the main Track to be Honest. But the Turf course might be more of the same – or not. Here is how we handle that.
- We pick the horse we think is in the right shape/condition
- We back that horse if we think the odds are fair
- and if we don’t have 1 & 2, we wait, so that we can see the actual turf condition and adjust from there.
IF we follow these common sense ideas, we should be able to find “betting advantages” and only back them, which is what we are suppose to do… It’s really that simple…
