Saturday’s (8-20-2016) Power Page and PLUS for Saratoga and Del Mar are ready for download…

Carryovers on Both Coasts… Songbird gets to strut her stuff in the Alabama at Saratoga… and California Chrome takes on all comers in the Pacific Classic.  To this handicapper’s eye, it looks like CC should be 4/5 with a big conditioning edge over Dortmund and Beholder…  I like Hard Aces to be in there as well, but I doubt that anyone is going to be able to handle CC.

As for Songbird, I have said it before and I will say it again, this is as good a filly as I have seen since Personal Ensign and maybe even the great Ruffian…  Hopefully, I have not jinxed this amazing filly, I doubt I have that kind of comic power, but we know they all get beat eventually, with the notable exception of the amazing and singularly exceptional Personal Ensign who was NEVER beaten.

STAR report Friday…

(Star horses appear on both the JJPP-Classic and JJPP-Plus)

On Friday, we had 6 STAR horses at 5 at Saratoga and 1 at Del Mar, no winners, several underneaths…

How am I doing with JJPP-PLUS at the Saratoga and Del Mar meets?

(Star horses have been a hallmark of my products since 1998 and appear on the JJPP-Classic and JJPP-Plus)

Total STAR horses = 130…. Total $$$ won (if you bet $2.00 on each one ) = $320.20… Cost is only $260.00… Profit of $60.20… ROI is $1.23 per $1.00 played…

(Results are through and include :  Friday for  Saratoga and  Sunday for Del Mar)

For TOP-RATED horses on the JJPP-PLUS for both Del Mar and Saratoga — a $2.00 win bet on every TOP RATED horse   since the beginning of both meets, BET THEM ALL, thru today — you would have won $849.90 at a cost of only $810.00.

The ROI is a positive $1.05 per $1.00 wagered!  That is exactly how good the JJPP-PLUS has been going Coast to Coast!

(updated  results thru end of racing on Friday 8-19-2016)

With the JJPPs, when it’s our turn to win,

we simply do not miss — no zig — no zag!

 Bias report

Saratoga on  (8-18)…  Inside was an advantage today…

Del Mar on  (8-18)…      The feeling here is it played HONEST.

Del Mar’s Turf —Again —  a fair place to race…

Race Day Play from Friday

Saratoga… Race #6 Chipit off at 6/1… Handled with indecision coming out of the gate, got checked and wheeled wide into the first turn, lost action briefly and fell well back, then raced evenly while out of contact with the field…  Not encouraging…

Del Mar Race #5 Woody’s Folly at 7/2 … well handled, place perfectly behind the front group, moved up outside on the far turn and percevered to the wire, getting the NOD and Winning at $9.80 – no exacta…

Total Return     $647.00

Total  Cost          $ 574.00

ROI 1.13 per $1.00 played…
