California Chrome, he’s a really big boy now.
Now doubt that CC has benefited by the trip to get the proper rest and relaxation. He’s really grown up beautifully and looks the part of a fabulous high class handicap horse, maybe the next Forego or Skip Away or Winter’s Tale (whose nagging injuries kept him from be renown as Forego). I really can’t wait to see this Bad Boy run throughout this year… It should be great fun.
Race Day Plays for Saturday:
Aqueduct: Race #7 — Ogermeister … ran DULL…
Santa Anita: Race #5 — John’s Success PLACED at 3/1… well handled in behind horses – finished full of run for the PLACE.
Track Bias Report for Saturday:
Aqueduct: Played to OUTSIDE CLOSERS all day… La Verdad was her spectacular self… big effort from Got Winged and JEt Black as well – heads UP.
Santa Anita: Track changed dramatically today, inside horses didn’t do that well and early speed types were tiring early. I would say it was Negative rail and favored closer !
