Aqueduct should resume racing on a WET surface…
After strong winds and lots of rain, Aqueduct canceled on Thursday. But the sun came out about 4:40 PM in Brooklyn and there should be a lovely day for racing on Friday. But with copious amounts of precip, I am anticipating a WET (sloppy to muddy) condition. IF the track is listed as GOOD and Harrowed, you will have to consider reducing the PPN on horses that have an “m or M’ next to their names. From my point of view, Good/Harrowed tracks do not perform like Muddy or Sloppy tracks at all! But the card is terrific and there seems to be some great betting opportunities on Friday’s card – for sure!
Gulfstream also took some rain this afternoon with the last two turf races being transferred to the Main track. To me it seemed a little silly, but that’s just me. Anyway, tomorrow they should have great weather again and I am fully expecting all the races to be run as carded. The card is full of attractive wagering races.
Santa Anita looks pretty good as well, with beautiful weather.
Stay with the Power Page…
