Today I really knocked the cover off the ball for ROI on Top-RAted horses. The Top-Rated horses aggragated a total return of $67.90 for only $32.00 wagered (at $2.00 per wager). What is really interesting is that the track was labeled as MUDDY and I handicapped for a FAST track, so each race required re-rating according to our principle of adding 1 to 2 points for the small “m” and 3 to 4 points for the large “M”. With that — Attractive Risk had a “M” in Race #8 — thereby becoming the clear TOP RATED horse (also sporting the 1 for Early Speed) and paid a whopping $17.60. Then in the 10th race Dixie Spartke — also with a “M” – became the TOP RATED horse and paid a fabulous $19.20. Other TOP Rated horses at Saratoga incoudled Rapid Burn in the 5th and Saginaw who started out as the TOP RATED horse and with his assignment of “m” became an even larger advantage horse and paid a huge price of $7.40 isna 5 horse field. Then Del Mar prodcued a couple more winners that pushed the number up…
