Monday’s (7-30-2012) Power Page and KHSS for Saratoga are now ready for download…

There were great performances on the track, with the Paynter running a spectacular race in the Haskell as the the most special.  But we also saw terrific runs by Currency Swap at his beloved Saratoga in the Amsterdam, while the shipper Gun Boat broke badly losing all chance.  And what about Amazombie  and the loyal Mike Smith winning the Bing Crosby.  All these efforts buy our beloved equine athletes still make my pulse beat and puts a little extra “pep in my step” to quote one of my heros – Gary Player.   But playing the game sometimes seems tougher on me than the doing seems on our equine heroes.   On Sunday, I had made a selection of Missy Ky I You in the 9th at Del Mar, with the morning line of 6/1 with my best number being the early speed type Tornado Allie.   But I had additional exacta’s and trifectas using all the right horses.  When Missy Ky went off at 19/1 I was set up for a “MAJOR SCORE”.  But unfortunately, David Flores couldn’t get Missy to pass Budidinha  to get into 2nd — finishing a fast closing 3rd — beaten just an inch or two for 2nd — NO CASH FOR JERRY.   She ran too good to lose and the pick was too good not to win, but — that’s the game we love…back to the drawing board.

Sunday’s Video Handicapping for Saratoga was successful again with our two best plays in the 1st and 3rd races coming in and paying fair value…
